Who is responsible for your data
Ana Teresa Rivas Arellano, an individual who operates the ALA Solutions brand and the solutionsala.com website, based in Mexico City, Mexico, is responsible for the personal data you share on this site.
This notice is issued under Mexico’s Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (Official Gazette, March 20, 2025).
What we collect
Only what you give us and the minimum the site needs to work:
- Contact details you type in the form or in the “Ask ALA” assistant: name, email, phone, company, the topic you choose and your message.
- Your conversation with the assistant.
- Visit data: the language and page of the site, your approximate country (derived from your IP address), the site you came from, campaign parameters in the link (UTM), the first page you visited, your browser type, and the date and time.
- Your IP address, temporarily, to limit the number of messages and protect the site against abuse and automated submissions.
We do not ask for sensitive personal data or financial data. Please do not include them in your messages.
Why we use it
Purposes needed to handle your request:
- To answer your request and follow up on your interest in our solutions or as an investor.
- To answer your questions in the site assistant.
- To sort requests so clients and investors are answered first, and to set apart spam, vendor offers and job requests.
- To protect the site against abuse, fraud and automated submissions.
Additional purpose: knowing how you found us (for example a search engine, a social network or a directory) to measure our channels. If you do not want your data used for this, tell us in your message or through the contact in “Your rights”; it does not affect how we handle your request.
We do not use your data to send you advertising or newsletters, and we do not sell it.
Who we share it with
- Providers that give us hosting and network, email delivery, protection against automated submissions and language processing for the assistant. They process data on our behalf and only for these purposes. Some are outside Mexico, for example in the United States.
- Authorities, when a law or an order from a competent authority requires it.
How long we keep it
Requests and conversations that include contact details are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted automatically. Data used to limit abuse, such as your IP address, is deleted within 24 hours. If we start a business relationship, we keep the data for as long as it lasts and as the law requires.
Your rights and how to withdraw consent
You can access, correct or delete your data, object to its use, withdraw your consent or limit how we use it by writing to [email protected].
Include your name, the email or phone you used to contact us, which right you want to exercise and, where applicable, a document that proves your identity or your representative’s. We will answer within 20 business days.
If you think we did not handle your request, you can go to the competent personal data protection authority.
Storage in your browser
This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. It stores in your browser:
- your preferred language (local storage);
- the site you came from on that visit (session storage, cleared when you close the tab).
The protection against automated submissions may use its provider’s technologies only to tell people from bots. The Chinese version of the site loads fonts from an outside provider, which receives your IP address. You can clear this data in your browser settings.
Visitors in the United States
We do not sell or share personal information for advertising. We do not track visitors across other websites, so browser “Do Not Track” signals do not change how this site works.
Children
This site is meant for businesses, not for children. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 or from minors.
Changes to this notice
We will post any change on this page with its update date.
